THE RAMEN GUIDE
Your guide to the best ramen and food experiences all across California!
What is The Ramen Guide?
The ramen guide is a collection of sassy, in depth, and comparative ramen reviews written by me, a ramen enthusiast. My goal is to visit every restaurant in Orange County and Los Angeles that makes and serves tonkotsu ramen. In each review, I rate the main components and then give a final overall rating for the bowl of ramen. After each review, I let you know if I would recommend a restaurant or would not recommend a restaurant.

Ramen
Ramen is my obsession. Any bowl of tonkotsu ramen must have three main ingredients that I call the “Holy Trinity”.
The Broth. The Noodles. The Chashu.
Each ingredient may be simple on its own, but the real magic is when they harmonize.

Sushi
Sushi is a craft that dances between food and art. My favorite style is “omakase” where I leave the decision to the chef, who then prepares a multi-course selection of sushi or other small dishes.
